PEACE FOUNDATION-DRC officially launched its new language and computer training courses for adults, marking a significant step in its commitment to the education and empowerment of Congolese citizens on July 10, 2024 at its head office located at Av.Hippodrome, Peaysage, Commune of Ibanda, in the City of Bukavu.
An innovative program for adult education these training courses aim to provide adults with the skills necessary to succeed in an increasingly globalized and digitalized world. Language courses include English, French, Spanish, and Lingala, while it training covers topics ranging from computer literacy to more advanced office automation and digital marketing skills.
Mr. Kendri MASTAKI, coordinator of PEACE FOUNDATION-DRC, declared: «Our objective is to reduce the digital and linguistic divide which is hindering the development of our society. By offering these training courses, we enable our adults to acquire essential skills for the modern job market. »
Support for all learners training is open to all adults, regardless of educational level or income. Certificates are available for deserving candidates who complete the training.
Classes will be taught by qualified and experienced trainers, ensuring quality education. A response to growing demand the demand for language and it skills has continued to grow, particularly due to globalization and the rapid digitalization of professions.
The PEACE FOUNDATION-DRC programs are therefore an appropriate response to this pressing need. Participants will have access to modern educational resources and an interactive learning environment. The first registrants expressed their enthusiasm and gratitude. Solange, a participant and member of PF-DRC, shared: «This initiative is an incredible opportunity for me to improve my skills and increase my chances in the job market. »
The opening of these training courses by PEACE FOUNDATION-DRC represents an important step towards improving the employability and empowerment of adults in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
